2007-2008 RDP COMPETITION TEAM

We would like to invite ALL interested in participating in the 2007-2008 RDP COMPETITION TEAM to please join us:

Friday, July 27th 5:00 - 7:30

• STUDENTS AGES 10 & BELOW interested in becoming a member of TROOP 1 or TROOP 2.
• CURRENT MEMBERS OF PREP & TROOP 1

Saturday, July 28th 5:00 - 8:00

• STUDENTS AGES 11 & ABOVE interested in becoming a member of TROOP 2, 3 or 4
• CURRENT MEMBERS OF TROOP 2, 3 & 4

* Students who receive an Invitation to join the 2007-2008 PREP TEAM will not need to attend Tryouts unless they wish to become a member of TROOP 1.

Week #1 is for Ages 5-9 (non-competitive) and will be held Mon-Fri, August 6-10!

Week #2 is for Ages 10 & Above and will be held Mon-Fri, August 13-17!
* We suggest that All Competitive Troops attend Week #2. *

Turn Class Now Available!

For anyone interested in improving their turning
techniques we now offer a 45 minute class on
Saturdays to make you turn like a star! Classes are $35 a month, and are from 12-12:45.

The 2007 Dance Finale

Due to the advanced nature of this dance, we are inviting Recreational Levels C & D and Competition Troops 1-4. Practices will be held on SUNDAYS, and the first two dates are April 15th 1-4 pm and April 29th 1-4 pm. Practices will continue through June.

The finale information has been updated and posted on the wall of the studio.

RDP Receives "1st Place" Studio Award

We are extremely proud to announce that Rohanna Dance Productions received the High Honor of First Place Studio of the entire Hall of Fame Competition!

We are also proud to announce that both “Don’t You Know”  &  “It Leaves a Space” were chosen as * HALL OF FAME GROUP INDUCTEES! * You can view our dances at the Hall of Fame website. (As of today, they're not online yet)

Competition Schedule Updated

New Dates for the Starpower Competition are March 30-31 and April 1st.

The Headliners Competition is being replaced by the Thunderstruck Competition on May 5-6.

Saturday Classes Change

This Saturday's classes (1/6/07) will be shortened due to Lance and Jamile's Hip Hop Show at Anne Arundel Community College from 9-3:15. For more info on the show see the studio bulletin board.

Morning Classes will proceed as normal until 12:00 noon. Students are excused from these classes only if they are attending the Workshop.

The Evening class schedule will be as follows:
4 - 5 pm ~ Musical Theater
5 - 5:30 pm ~ Switch
5:30 - 6:30 pm ~ Survivor

This effects Saturday only.

A New Adult 6-week session will begin 1-6-07 and will continue through 2-10-07.

RDP Holiday Party

RDP performs at Sunday's
Navy Basketball Game

The competition team will be representing RDP at the Naval Academy home basketball game pre-game show this Sunday, Dec. 17, at 3:30.  They will perform their Platinum award winning dance: Don't You Know.

Tickets are $3 each and can be purchased in advance with a reply e-mail to Robyn prior to Thursday, Dec. 14, at 4:00 PM.
